Sisi greets Afghanistan on Independence Day

CAIRO - 20 August 2017: President Abdel Fatah Al Sisi on Wednesday delegated presidential secretary Ahmed el Ansari to the Embassy of the Republic of Afghanistan in Cairo to extend greetings on the Independence Day.

Afghanistan’s Independence Day is celebrated annually on August 19. This public holiday commemorates the independence of the Republic of Afghanistan from Britain in 1919.
