Hegazi heads to Japan to discuss boosting military ties

CAIRO, August 20, 2017: Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Mahmoud Hegazi headed for Tokyo on an official visit.

During the visit, Hegazi is expected to discuss with senior Japanese officials means of fostering bilateral relations in the various military fields.

The visit also aims at coordinating efforts to confront challenges threatening the region’s security and stability.
