Egypt to chair Arab meeting on fighting terrorism

CAIRO, Aug 20 2017: Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali presides over on Monday a meeting of senior officials of the Arab ministries of social affairs, justice and youth to discuss issues of terrorism and social development in implementation of the recent Arab summit in Amman.

Arab League assistant secretary general Badr El Din Elali said the meeting would draw up a mechanism on means to combat terrorism upon the recommendations of the Amman summit.

Counselor Tariq Nabil El Naboulsi, the director of development and social policies at the league said the Arab social affairs ministers council will present during the first session of the gathering a review on the Arab efforts to fight terrorism.
