Heat wave is set to hit Egypt on Monday

CAIRO - 20 August 2017: The weather is expected to be hot and humid across Egypt, according to Egyptian Meteorological experts.

Cairo, Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh will record daily highs of 36, 32 and 31 degrees Celsius respectively and 21, 26 and 23 degrees Celsius respectively at night.

Recently, Egypt has witnessed a heat wave. It is recommended during such hot weather to drink plenty of fluids and avoid going out in the afternoon, from 12 p.m. till 3 p.m., where the weather is at its highest.
