CAIRO- 19 August 2017: An industrial waste recycling plant worth nearly LE 3 billion will be established on 65,000 square meters in Port Said, SSCO Petroleum Company chairman Hany Omar said in a press conference on Saturday.

Khaled Fahmy, the Minister of Environment accompanied by Port Said governor Adel El Gadban set the cornerstone of the plant on Saturday.

SSCO Chairman stated that the planet project will provide 275 job opportunities and restore the waters of Manzala Lake.

“this project will be established within the framework of the directives of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to cleanse and develop Lake Manzala,”, Hany Omar said.

He added that the 118 factories which will be established in the coming period will produce about 15 thousand cubic meters per day of industrial waste.

The construction work will be assigned to the Arab contractors company.
