India train derails, at least 119 killed, more than 150 injured - Reuters
NEW DELHI - 19 Aug 2017: An Indian train derailed in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, wounding at least 20 people, a police official said.
Local media reported that at least 5 people were killed, but a spokesman for the railways said he could not confirm the number of casualties.
Several carriages came off the tracks close to Muzaffarnagar, north of the capital New Delhi, Ajay Kumar Sahdev, additional superintendent of police in Muzaffarnagar, told Reuters.
Television footage several mangled carriages, with one carriage piled on top of another.
