Mauritania denounces Barcelona attack

NOUAKCHOTT - 18 August 2017: Mauritania strongly condemned on Friday the terrorist attack that occurred in the Spanish city Barcelona on Thursday, which left 13 dead and countless others wounded.

The Mauritanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced in a statement the cowardly attack, stressing its solidarity with the Spanish people and government, Mauritanian Al Shaab newspaper reported.

The ministry sent its condolences to the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to the wounded, the statement added.
