BEIJING - 18 August 2017: Egypt's ambassador to China Osama al Magdoub said Friday that the Egyptian-Chinese relations have room for more improvement at bilateral, regional and international levels.

Magdoub underlined in statements to MENA the excellent relations between both countries, pointing out that these relations have been enhanced in 2014 after being upgraded to comprehensive strategic partnership to include economic, cultural and tourist fields in addition to other fields.

He explained that China's invitation to President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi to participate in BRICS summit to be held in the Chinese city of Xiamen next month reflects the strength of bilateral relations either between the two time-honored civilizations or at the level of relations of friendship binding the Egyptian and Chinese presidents.

The BRICS groups countries of rapid economic growth of India, Brazil, China and Russia, he said, adding that the summit will focus on strategic dialogue on the development of rising markets and developing countries.
