Syrian Armed forces renew military attacks on Jobar

DAMASCUS - 17 August 2017: Violent clashes between factions of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Syrian armed forces continued in Ayn Tarma in the Eastern Damascus countryside, Sky News reported Thursday.

Meanwhile, government forces renewed their military attacks on Jobar neighborhood.

FSA fighter Faylaq al Rahman was cited as saying that 20 Syrian army personnel were killed in confrontations between the two sides.

Two tanks and an armored vehicle were also destroyed in the fighting.
