At least 6 dead in alleged gang attack on Guatemala hospital

GUATEMALA - 16 August 2017: At least six people were reported killed and five were arrested when Gunmen stormed one of Guatemala's largest hospitals attempting to free an imprisoned gang member, ABC news reported on Wednesday.

Unknown number of attackers entered the facility in the morning and began shooting, Director of the Roosevelt Hospital Carlos Soto said.

National Civil Police said the five men in custody were members of the Mara Salvatrucha gang via Twitter.
