Clashes between Free Syrian Army, regime forces renewed

DAMASCUS - 16 Aug 2017: Clashes renewed between the Free Syrian Army and regime forces in Zamalka and Jubar districts in Rif Dimashq, field sources said.

In statements to the Arabic-speaking Sky News Channel, the sources said regime forces continued shelling Ein Tarma village in Eastern Ghouta and Jubar district in Rif Dimashq.

Syria has been engulfed in a civil war for over six years with its government troops fighting numerous opposition factions as well as terrorist groups such as the Daesh and Jabhat Fatah al Sham.
