CAIRO - 12 August 2017: Spokesman for the Transport Ministry Mohamed Ezz on Saturday denied reports claiming that a fire had erupted on an Alexandria- Aswan train.
In statements to MENA, Ezz said a spark went off and smokes emerged when the train's driver used the brakes.
"They were immediately put out," he said.
He said that rail traffic on the Upper Egypt railways goes as normal.
