MOSCOW - 11 August 2017: Russia’s Defense Ministry said Friday it had to scramble jet fighters four times over the past week to chase off foreign reconnaissance aircraft, Russian news agency Sputnik reported.

Flight intensity figures published on the ministry’s website showed that a total of 12 spy planes flew missions along the Russian borders over the stated period of time.

None of them trespassed.
