Poland appreciates Egypt role in UN Security Council

CAIRO - 11 August 2017: Egyptian Ambassador in Warsaw Hossam Qawish on Thursday said Poland appreciates the Egyptian role in the UN Security Council.

In statements earlier in the day, Qawish said that the visit of Assistant Foreign Minister for Multilateral Relations Hesham Badr to Warsaw came within the framework of the Polish keenness on benefiting from the Egyptian experience obtained during the term of its membership in the Security Council for the period 2016-2017.

In a meeting with Polish officials, Badr asserted that Egypt had a clear vision supporting Arab and African issues.

The Polish officials expressed thanks to Egypt, hailing the relations between Warsaw and Cairo.
