Menoufia Police Investigation topsentenced for embezzlement

10 August 2017: Director of Police Criminal Investigation of Sadat City, Menoufia governorate, Mahmoud Abd El Maksoud was sentenced, Thursday, to 7 years in prison on charges of forgery and embezzlement.

Criminal Court of Shibin El Kom city in the governorate sentenced, in the same case, investigatingofficer Anwar Bereika to one year of suspended prison.

Director of Investigation in Awsim, Giza was proven guilty, last June, along with two policemen and three employees of embezzling some LE 3 million ($168.776) in six months.
