French embassy mourns renowned intellectual Ali Al Saman

CAIRO_ 9 August 2017: The French Embassy here mourned Wednesday great scholar Ali Al Saman who passed away at the age of 88 on Thursday.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the embassy said that Al Saman has been a "lover for Egypt and France".

He was born in 1929 and he had many studies and researches as well as media contributions in political and intellectual issues.

The late scholar got a license of law from Alexandria University in 1953.
