Sisi congratulates Rwanda's Kagame on re-election win

CAIRO – 9 August 2017: President Abdel Fatah al Sisi congratulated Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda, over his landslide victory in the African state’s election, securing a third term in office.

This came in a cable that was carried by the Facebook page of the Egyptian Embassy in Rwanda on Tuesday.

The election victory secures a third term in office for Kagame and extends his 17 years in power.
