Takfiri underground bunker destroyed in Central Sinai

CAIRO- 8 August 2017: The Law Enforcement Forces of the Third Army in cooperation with Air forces destroyed the underground bunker of Takfiri elements in Central Sinai on Tuesday, August 8, stated the Military spokesperson.

The attack has killed five Takfiri persons and has helped the Third Army to arrest three Takfiri persons and to stop a vehicle full of drugs.

Law Enforcement Forces of the Third Army continued exerting efforts to raid terrorist hotbeds in Central Sinai, the spokesperson added.

On August 1, the Third Army could arrest one Takfiri element and destroy a terrorist hotbed during raids on terrorist hideouts in Central Sinai, the military Spokesperson said.

In a statement, the military spokesperson said that an attempt to smuggle eight vehicles loaded with fuel was thwarted in Central Sinai.
