Gaza hosts solidarity festival with Egypt against terrorism

CAIRO - 5 August 2017: The Egyptian Community in Palestine called for festival on Saturday in solidarity with the Egyptian people against terrorism, said the General Commissioner for Public Relations of the Tribal Affairs Supreme Commission, Akef al-Masri in a statement.

The festival is to be held in cooperation with the Tribal Affairs Supreme Council in the southern provinces of Gaza on the land of Saraya in the central Gaza Strip.

Masri pointed out that this festival “is a public message filled with love and solidarity from the people of the Gaza Strip towards Egyptians,” stressing that the Palestinian people strongly oppose “terrorism” targeting Egypt and the Egyptians.

The festival will be attended by Palestinian civil society organizations, Palestinian leaders and officials, clan dignitaries, academic and community figures, and a large number of citizens in Palestine.
