Two martyrs of Luxor terrorist attack laid to rest

LUXOR - 5 August 2017: Luxor Governor Mohamad Badr and Assistant Interior Minister General Essam el Hamli led a military funeral held for the two martyrs of Thursday's terrorist attack that targeted a security checkpoint in Esna city in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Luxor.

Thousands of Luxor residents and a number of lawmakers and officials participated in the funeral possession.

For his part, the governor offered his deep condolences to the martyrs’ families, praising acts of courage of the two martyrs in facing terrorist elements in the city.
