FM leaves Khartoum for Cairo

KHARTOUM - 3 August 2017: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry left here Thursday after a two-day visit.

During the visit, Shoukry co-chaired meetings of the political consultation committee between Egypt and Sudan along with his Sudanese counterpart Ibrahim Ghandour.

In the meetings, means of boosting cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic and trade fields were discussed.

The top Egyptian diplomat was seen off at the airport by the Egyptian envoy to Sudan, Sudanese officials and a number of foreign ministry officials.
