CAIRO – 3 August 2017: The cabinet has finished its second half annual report, prepared by Planning Ministry, and reviews its final draft to submit it to Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, then to House of Representatives on its upcoming session in October.
The first half annual report submitted to the Parliament included seven axes, keeping the national security, upholding democratic values, the economic program, sectors development, administrative reform, and enhancing Egypt’s role on African, Arab and international levels.
The government affirmed in its first report that it aims at achieving economic growth rate reaching 5.2 percent in the year 2016/2017, to be risen to 6 percent by the year 2017/2018.
The second half report will review the latest achievements in all service and developmental projects, state’s efforts to counter terrorism and the issuance of new investment law.
