Alex. court judge arrested over bribery charges

ALEXANDRIA - 2 August 2017: The Administrative Control Authority (ACA) arrested Wednesday Al Raml's Court of Misdemeanors president while receiving a bribe in a coffee shop.

The ACA had received information that Al Raml's Court of Misdemeanors president, identified with the initials (A.O), acquitted defendants of their charges in return for a bribe.

The ACA followed all legal procedures and caught the judge red-handed.

The State Security Prosecution interrogated Al Raml's Court of Misdemeanors president to find out the circumstances and details of the case.

The Supreme Council of the Judiciary abolished the judge's legal immunity.
