ZAGAZIG, Egypt - 31 July 2017: As many as 133 members of the banned Muslim Brotherhood were sentenced on Monday to 10 to 15 years in prison in three separate cases in Sharqiya, east of Cairo.
Eighteen others were acquitted by Zagazig criminal court on charges including violence against police and the Armed Forces.
The court held its three sessions in Belbeis township amid tight security measures.
The MB was designated as terrorist in 2013 over a series of deadly attacks across the nation.
