Railway line to be extended to link 10th of Ramadan

ZAQAZIQ - 28 July 2017: Transport Minister Hisham Arafat said on Thursday work is under way to extend a railway line between 10th of Ramadan and Robeeky cities to promote trade and facilitate the transport of commodities.

Leather tanneries, now located in a small neighborhood in Old Cairo behind Magra al Oyoun Wall, will be moved to Robeeky industrial area.

The minister, during a visit to Zaqaziq University, underlined the importance of developing railway lines in Egypt as considered one of the country's national projects.

The minister was accompanied by Governor of Sharqiya Khaled Saeed and a host of university professors.
