Case of 235 Zamalek fans referred to military prosecution

ALEXANDRIA, July 27 (MENA) - Western Alexandria Prosecution decided Thursday to refer Case 9924/2017 of the 235 Zamalek fans to military prosecution for investigation.

Earlier, Al Dekheila Court in Alexandria decided to remand 253 Zamalek fans in custody for another 15 days.

The accused were arrested for riots following a match between Zamalek and Ahli Tripoli at Borg Al Arab stadium as they broke stand seats of the stadium.

The international Borg Al Arab stadium's authority sent a report to the prosecution including the damage by the accused.

Public prosecution requested police investigations and seized CCTV cameras for review before referring the accused to trial
