LONDON, July 26 (MENA) - Egyptian Ambassador in London Nasser Kamel and head of the Egyptian maritime transport sector vice admiral Tareq Ghanem received on Wednesday delegations from the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
They discussed regional and international activities in Egypt's ports and Suez Canal to facilitate the world trade movement.
The meeting is part of Egypt's preparations for running the election of IMO council in cooperation with the state agencies.
Delegates of more than 70 countries responded to the ambassador's invitation to attend the meeting, which tackled the mega projects Egypt has been carrying out especially in ports and the Suez Canal zone.
