President Sisi congratulates Jordan’s king on successful surgery

CAIRO – 19 February 2025: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated the Jordanian king following his successful surgery on Tuesday, expressing his wishes for health and wellness.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you, my brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, on the successful surgical operation you underwent,” Sisi said in a social media post on Tuesday.

“I ask Allah, the Almighty, to grant Your Majesty abundant health and wellness, and success in continuing your service to the brotherly Jordan and the Arab world.”

The Royal Hashemite Court announced that the king has left the hospital after undergoing a minor surgical procedure to treat an incisional hernia at King Hussein Medical City.

The court added that the king is set to return to his daily work schedule on Wednesday, according to a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
