CAIRO - 13 February 2025: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty traveled on Thursday to attend a ministerial meeting on Syria convened by the French government.

This meeting follows the Aqaba discussions in December 2024 and the Riyadh talks in January 2025, with the aim of coordinating regional and international efforts to address the situation in Syria.

The goal is to support a comprehensive political process that ensures Syria’s stability, unity, security, and sovereignty over all its territories, while also fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people.

During the visit, it is anticipated that the minister will hold discussions with several of his counterparts present at the meeting to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations and exchange views on a range of regional issues of mutual concern.
