CAIRO - 5 February 2025: The Fatah movement has expressed deep appreciation for the positions of Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia in opposing Israeli plans for forced displacement and annexation.
According to a statement released on Wednesday via Palestinian News Agency WAFA, Fatah emphasized that this Arab stance serves as a critical barrier against such projects.
Fatah reaffirmed its strong rejection of any plans to displace Palestinians from Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem. The movement stated that the Palestinian people, who have struggled and sacrificed for over a century, will remain steadfast on their land.
It stressed that Palestinians will not surrender their legitimate rights and will continue their efforts until they achieve:
- Self-determination
- An independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital
- The right of return for refugees in accordance with international resolutions
The movement warned that no initiative that undermines Palestinian national rights, political unity, or territorial integrity will succeed. It asserted that regional peace, security, and stability can only be achieved by ensuring full Palestinian rights.
Fatah vowed that any forced relocation or annexation will be met with unwavering Palestinian resistance, reaffirming that such efforts will ultimately fail in the face of Palestinian resilience.
