Humanitarian aid trucks continue to enter Gaza Strip via Rafah Crossing

CAIRO - 28 January 2025: Humanitarian aid trucks continue to enter the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, as part of the ongoing Egyptian and international efforts to support the Palestinian brothers in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions they are suffering from.

 

The trucks contain food supplies, medicines, relief tents, and medical supplies. They crossed the crossing from the Egyptian side and unloaded their shipments in the Palestinian territories through the Karam Abu Salem and Al-Auja crossings, to then move to various areas of the Gaza Strip according to the field plans prepared to ensure rapid distribution.

 

The Rafah border crossing gate is witnessing an accelerated movement of trucks carrying humanitarian supplies, which represent a major lifeline for the residents of the Strip.

 

Sources at the Rafah crossing confirm that the priority is to bring in food supplies and necessary medical supplies, due to the deterioration of the health conditions in Gaza as a result of the successive crises that the Strip is going through. This aid comes within the framework of joint coordination between the Egyptian and international authorities, as the Egyptian government works in cooperation with international organizations and humanitarian institutions.

 

On the medical side, ambulances equipped with the latest equipment continue their journey in line and preparation to transport the wounded and sick Palestinians to Egyptian hospitals to receive treatment upon their arrival on the Egyptian side.

 

Ambulance officials confirmed that medical teams are ready around the clock to deal with emergency cases immediately to ensure that urgent healthcare is provided. Specialized medical teams have also been allocated to deal with critical cases at the crossing upon their arrival. Trucks continue to move on the international road Arish-Rafah, in a scene that reflects the extent of the efforts made by all Egyptian authorities to provide continuous support. The humanitarian initiatives led by the Egyptian people continue through in-kind and financial donations, which have contributed significantly to supporting relief convoys.
