CAIRO – 20 January 2025: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated Donald Trump on taking the oath of the office as the President of the United States of America on Monday, wishing him all success.

In a statement, President Sisi said: “I affirm continuing collaboration and cooperation with His Excellency to strengthen the strategic relations between our two countries and to achieve common interests, in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples and enhances security and stability in our region and the world.”

US President-elect Donald Trump took the presidential oath for a second time, capping a historic political comeback to the White House, according to ABC News.

The ceremony was moved inside to the US Capitol Rotunda because of frigid weather for only the first time since Ronald Reagan's second inauguration 40 years ago
