CAIRO – 20 January 2025: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty received Monday a phone call from his Nepalese counterpart Arzu Rana Deuba who expressed appreciation for Egypt's efforts in partnership with the United States and Qatar to broker the Gaza ceasefire deal.
In turn, the minister shed light on the importance that the agreement's parties fulfill all its articles without delay. He also stressed the salience of intensifying humanitarian delivery, concerting efforts on reconstruction, and rehabilitating infrastructure.
The two ministers also discussed bilateral ties, so as Minister Abdelatty expressed aspiration to hold the second session of joint political consultations in order to push forward cooperation.
