President Sisi pardons 4466 convicts on the occasion of January 25

CAIRO – 20 January 2025: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi issued on Monday a presidential decree pardoning 4466 convicts, taking into consideration their health and humanitarian circumstances, on the occasion of the January 25 celebrations.

Last October, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi also decided to pardon some inmates on the anniversary of the October War victory.

The decree was published in the official gazette.
