CAIRO - 18 January 2025: The Egyptian Ministers of Health and Solidarity arrived Saturday morning at the Rafah crossing as part of the intensive Egyptian efforts to ensure the progress of the final preparations for the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip, reported Al-Qahera TV News channel's correspondent.

Earlier, an informed Egyptian source confirmed to Al-Qahera News that the Cairo meeting on implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip had ended amid a positive atmosphere.

The source confirmed that all necessary arrangements had been agreed upon to implement the agreement, including the formation of a joint operations room in Cairo to follow up on the implementation of the procedures.

Egypt has opened the registration for doctors who wish to volunteer to treat the wounded and injured as a result of the Israeli aggression inside the Gaza Strip, announced Head of the Egyptian Doctors Syndicate Osama Abdel-Hay on Sunday.

“This initiative is part of the effort to compile lists of the required medical specialties, in line with the humanitarian and medical responsibilities that Egyptian doctors bear in supporting their Palestinian brothers,” he said in a press statement.

He noted that more than 2,000 are ready to volunteer and enter Gaza to treat the wounded.

The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip between Hamas and Israel will come into force at 8:30 a.m. (Gaza’s local time) on Sunday, January 19, said Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesman Majed al Ansari on his X account on Satutday.
