CAIRO - 15 JANUARY 2025: A well-informed source has revealed that mediators have applied significant pressure on both sides of the conflict to end the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, according to Al-Qahera News Channel.
The sources reported that the exchange of detainees is contingent on strict adherence to the terms of the ceasefire agreement. These terms include halting military operations, the withdrawal of occupying forces, the return of displaced individuals, and the entry of humanitarian aid.
According to the sources, on the seventh day of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, residents of Gaza will gain unrestricted movement throughout all areas of the enclave. Humanitarian aid will begin flowing into the region via Al-Rashid Street from the first day of the agreement's implementation.
The sources further stated that on the seventh day of the first phase, occupying forces will fully withdraw from Al-Rashid Street, relocating eastward to Salah al-Din Street. Military installations and positions along Al-Rashid Street will be dismantled.
Additionally, the sources disclosed that by the 22nd day of the agreement, occupying forces will withdraw from central Gaza, particularly from the Netzarim axis and the Kuwait Roundabout area east of Salah al-Din Street, moving to locations near the border.
This development highlights the ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with the ceasefire terms and to create conditions for stability and humanitarian relief in Gaza.
