CAIRO – 14 January 2025: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Nabil Habashi and Country Director of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Regina Kuhlmann signed Monday project implementation contract of the Egyptian-German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration (EGC).
The center's mission is offering legal migration opportunities for qualified Egyptian youth, and reducing illegal migration by providing alternatives. The institution, established by presidential decree no. 51/2020, also delivers vocational training in various fields, and carries out socio-economic integration of deported illegal migrants, providing them with social and psychological support.
