Addis Ababa-Cairo EgyptAir flight makes emergency landing at Jeddah airport

CAIRO – 8 January 2025: EgyptAir’s flight from Addis Ababa to Cairo made an emergency landing at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Wednesday due to "technical procedures," the flag carrier announced.

EgyptAir stated that flight MS852, a Boeing 737-800, was carrying 85 passengers while heading to Cairo International Airport.

All travelers were accommodated on two subsequent flights from Jeddah to Cairo: MS1662 and MS668.
