CAIRO - 4 January 2024: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued a decision Saturday, announcing coming Tuesday as an official paid holiday for employees in ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, public business sector companies, and private sector companies, marking the Coptic Christmas Day.
 
The decision said that exams, however, will continue according to the dates set by the competent authority, on the occasion of Christmas.
 
On this occasion, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly congratulated all Coptic citizens on the occasion of celebrating Christmas, expressing his wishes that God would return this occasion to our dear country with goodness, security, and peace.
