The platform, citing data from the African Space Industry Annual Report, revealed that 125 new satellites are planned for development and launch in 23 African countries in 2025.

The global space economy is estimated at approximately $469 billion, while Africa's space industry, valued at $19.49 billion in 2021, is projected to grow by 16.16% to reach $22.64 billion by 2026.
