CAIRO – 1 January 2025: Ambassador to Tunis Bassem Hassan met with Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development Samir Ebeid to discuss implementing the agreement of establishing a direct shipping line between the two countries.
That is among other measures aimed at bolstering trade exchange, and that include facilitating customs procedures and encouraging partnerships by the private sector in the two countries.
The two sides also stressed the importance of intensifying meetings among the officials of both states in order to prepare for the convention of the joint trade and industrial committee as well as a new session of the supreme committee.
