Police officer, 2 others killed in gas explosion, security source

CAIRO – 30 December 2024:  Egypt’s Ministry of Interior said in a statement that a Police officer along with 2 others were killed due to gas explosion on Sunday.

A security source reported that the gas explosion took place during maintenance at a storage facility within the Police Academy, resulting in the deaths of a police officer and two others.
