CAIRO – 27 December 2024: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty conducted an inspection visit to the site of the Alexandria University branch in N'Djamena during his official visit to Chad on Thursday.
He praised the efforts made to complete the construction of the new university building, emphasizing that the university will play a leading role in enhancing academic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Abdelatty also highlighted the importance of supporting human development and training young professionals to achieve Chad's national development plans by updating academic curricula, adding new specializations, and offering scholarships to Chadian students.
He further emphasized the importance of education as a cornerstone of sustainable development and strengthening cooperation between Egypt, Chad, and African countries.
Abdelatty has embargoed on an African tour starting from Chad, where he met with Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, the CEN-SAD Executive Secretary in Chad Ado Elhadji Abou, and other Chadian officials.
