CAIRO – 27 December 2024: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty traveled on Friday, December 27, to Libreville, the capital of Gabon, following the conclusion of his official visit to Chad.

 

During his visit, Minister Abdelatty is scheduled to hold meetings with senior Gabonese officials and participate in a business forum to discuss ways to enhance and advance bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as to promote economic, trade, and investment relations. 

 

Additionally, they will exchange views on developments in Africa and a number of regional issues of mutual interest, according to a statement released by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Friday.

 

Abdelatty has embargoed on an African tour starting from Chad, where he met with Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, the CEN-SAD Executive Secretary in Chad Ado Elhadji Abou, and other Chadian officials.
