Israel kills over 45.3K Palestinians in Gaza Since October 7, 2023

CAIRO – 26 December 2024: Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, with 38 martyrs and 137 injuries arriving at hospitals, according to the daily news briefing by the Palestinian Ministry of Health branch in Gaza on Thursday via its Telegram channel.

The death toll of the Palestinian victims rose to 45,399 and the total number of the injured people registered at 107,940 since October 7, 2023.

The ministry also continued that many of the victims remain trapped under rubble and on the streets, while rescue teams and civil defense unable to reach them due to the ongoing bombardment.

Meanwhile, Al-Qassam Brigades, affiliated to Hamas, announced that their fighters engaged in direct combat with an Israeli patrol at zero distance and killed and injured a number of soldiers near Al-Ali Mosque in the southern part of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

Also, the Al-Qassam Brigades targeted an Israeli "Merkava" tank with an anti-tank explosive device near Al-Ali Mosque in the southern part of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City. The attack resulted in significant damage to the tank.
