CAIRO – 25 December 2024: The employees of Gaza’s Electricity Company have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for the unwavering humanitarian support extended to the Palestinian people. They also acknowledged the significant role played by the Egyptian committee in delivering consistent aid throughout the ongoing crisis.

As part of its efforts, Egypt has dispatched tens of tons of essential humanitarian supplies to Gaza. This aid, sent in accordance with President El-Sisi’s directives, has been distributed across various sectors, including emergency response teams at the Gaza Electricity Company. These supplies have played a vital role in supporting the company’s operations and maintaining critical services for residents.

Since the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Egypt has remained steadfast in its commitment to the Palestinian cause. The country’s efforts have been focused on several fronts: providing continuous humanitarian assistance, striving for a ceasefire through relentless diplomatic engagements, and ensuring sustained relief efforts for the people of Gaza.

Egypt’s enduring support underscores its dedication to alleviating the hardships faced by the Palestinian people and its broader role in fostering stability and peace in the region. The gratitude expressed by Gaza’s Electricity Company highlights the tangible impact of Egypt’s humanitarian initiatives in a time of immense need.
