Egyptian president receives Saudi Minister of Culture

CAIRO – 17 December 2024: President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi received Tuesday Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan Al-Saud who delivered the greetings of the King and Crown Prince.

The Egyptian president valued the historic ties with Saudi Arabia across all fields, wishing the kingdom success in all the cultural and sports events it is hosting, including the 2034 FIFA World Cup.  

President Sisi lauded the development Saudi Arabia is experiencing in the fields of culture, arts, and tourism, welcoming any cooperation the kingdom may request, given Egypt's big legacy on that front. The chief of state also expressed the country's readiness to implement joint cultural projects.

On his side, the minister highlighted the high status Egyptian art occupies in the hearts of Saudis, expressing eagerness for executing cultural and artistic projects with Egypt.
