CAIRO - 16 December 2024: President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said Egypt already communicates with the new U.S. administration, and that “our opinion is respected and accepted by them.”
In a meeting with Egyptian journalists and media professionals on Sunday, the Egyptian president underscored that experiences have proven “the need of the U.S. to continue and stabilize its strategic relations with Egypt.”
This strategic relationship has been subjected to many tests over the past years and has proven to be a steadfast, strong and capable relationship, he added.
The president assured that Egypt will continue to find solutions to outstanding problems such as the issue of Gaza, Sudan, and Syria.
