CAIRO - 16 December 2024: President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met Sunday with some leaders of the police and armed forces, where he discussed the projections of regional and international crises on the Egyptian national security.
He highlighted that the armed forces and the police are protect the Egyptian borders as well as its internal front against various threats at all strategic aspects amid the instability taking the region by storm.
The current circumstances have proven that the awareness and solidarity of the Egyptian people are the guarantors of overcoming regional crises and surrounding threats, the president continued.
He assured that the role of state institutions should be maximized and that developmental efforts are continuing to reach the aspirations of the Egyptian people.
The president also said that Egypt closely monitors regional and international situations based on the constants of Egyptian policy.
The Egyptian policy is based on balance and moderation in dealing with successive events and changes, and working to end crises and spare the region the escalating risks of slipping into new conflicts.
Finally, Sisi emphasized that Egypt has the ability and power to preserve the security and safety of its people's resources.
