CAF confers highest award for outsanding achievement in 2024 on President Sisi

CAIRO - 14 December 2024: The Confederation of African Football (CAF), chaired by Patrice Motsepe, has decided to award the highest award of the African Football Confederation; the prestigious CAF Award for Outstanding Achievement for the year 2024, to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

This award comes in recognition of President Sisi's distinguished efforts and extensive contribution to the development and growth of football in Egypt and the African continent, through the development of the distinctive football infrastructure and facilities that were built in Egypt. 

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, is scheduled to be present to receive the award on behalf of the President of the Republic during the annual CAF Awards 2024 ceremony, which will be broadcast live on Monday, December 16, 2024 in Morocco.
